Happy Pongal!
Pongal is the harvest festival of Tamil Nadu. It is a four-day festival which according to the Tamil calendar is celebrated in Thai month(January -February), usually from 14 January to 17 January. Pongal is also the name of a dish prepared during this festival.
Pongal is celebrated in different states : Makar Sankranti in North India, Lohri in Punjab, Bihu in Assam .
